Article 1 – Definitions


1.1 Hart Rollers (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"): The company identified above as the provider of the services.


1.2 Participant: Any individual who registers for a lesson, workshop, or practice session with the Company.


Article 2 – Participation


2.1 You understand that roller-skating is a physically demanding sport that carries risks and dangers, including but not limited to:

  • Bruises, cuts, and general pain

  • Muscle and tendon injuries

  • Joint and skeletal injuries

  • Broken bones

  • Concussions


You voluntarily accept all the risks associated with roller-skating and waive all claims against Hart Rollers, its employees, agents, and partners for any injury or damage resulting from your participation in lessons, workshops, and/or training sessions.


2.2 You release the Company, its employees, agents, and affiliates from any liability for injury, damage, or death that may occur because of your participation in lessons, workshops, and/or practice sessions.


2.3 You understand that roller-skating is a physically demanding sport and that you participate at your own risk. You agree to follow all rules and guidelines set by the Companyand skate in a safe and responsible manner.


2.4 The Company strongly recommends the use of personal protective equipment (including knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards, and helmets) during skating activities. Wearing protective gear significantly reduces the risk of injury from falls or collisions. The Provider accepts no responsibility for injuries resulting from falls or collisions that could have been avoided by wearing protective gear.


2.5 Participants using their own skates and equipment are responsible for their maintenance and care. The Company will not be held liable for accidents, damage, or injuries caused by such skates and equipment to themselves or any third party.


2.6 Participants renting skates and equipment (through a third party) will not hold the Company liable for any accidents, damage, or injuries caused by such skates and equipment to themselves or any third party.


2.7 In the case of injury or illness, you understand that the Company may seek medical care for you and that you are responsible for any associated costs.


2.8 You acknowledge that lessons, workshops, and practice sessions have limited capacity, and that participation is subject to availability. The Company reserves the right to refuse entry to any participant who does not adhere to session rules or guidelines or poses a risk to themselves or others.


2.9 Please ensure you arrive on time, so you do not miss your session and have enough time to check in and put on your skates and safety gear. The Company will not be held responsible for missed services due to late arrival at a lesson, workshop, and/or practice session.


Article 3 – Online Classes


3.1 By participating in an online roller skating lesson from the Company, you acknowledge that following instructions remotely involves additional risks, including the lack of direct supervision and potential unsuitable conditions in your own environment.


3.2 You confirm that you have sufficient space to move safely and that you are responsible for creating a safe environment for participation.


3.3 You accept that participation in online lessons is at your own risk, and that the Company is not liable for injury or damage resulting from your participation in an online lesson, including but not limited to accidents in your own home or environment.


3.4 You indemnify the Company and all associated persons from liability for damage or injury occurring during or because of an online roller skating lesson.


3.5 By participating in an online roller skating lesson from the Company, you acknowledge that following instructions remotely involves additional risks, including the lack of direct supervision and potential unsuitable conditions in your own environment.


3.6 You are aware that online roller skating lessons may be partially recorded by the Company for commercial and promotional purposes, such as use on social media, websites, or marketing materials. By participating in the online lesson without objection, you consent to the recording of the lesson and the use of footage in which you may appear.


3.7 If you do not wish to be visibly recorded or used in such footage, you must inform the instructor in writing or verbally before or during the lesson.


Article 4 – Payment and Cancellation


4.1 Payment for lessons must be made in advance according to the payment instructions provided by the Company.


4.2 Participants must provide at least 72 hours’ notice for cancellations to be eligible for a refund or rescheduling.


Article 5 – Location of the services


5.1 The Company will conduct activities at various locations. The Company cannot be held liable for accidents caused by structures or objects at the location or by actions of other skaters or the public.


5.2 The organization is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings of participants, visitors, or others, regardless of the cause. It is the responsibility of everyone to keep their personal belongings secure.


Article 6 – Use of Media


6.1 All photos, videos, and other recordings made during Hart Rollers activities, including online lessons, are and remain the property of the Company.


6.2 The Company retains all rights regarding the use, reproduction, publication, and distribution of such material, regardless of the medium.


6.3 Participants waive all rights to any compensation or approval regarding the use of such material, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.


6.4 Participants who object to the use of recognizable images of themselves must notify the Company in writing at indfo@hartrollers.nl before the activity.


Article 7 – Use of Contact Information


7.1 By registering for an activity, participants provide their contact details to the Company.


7.2 The Company may use these contact details to inform participants about new lessons, workshops, and practice sessions.


7.3 Participants may unsubscribe from communications at any time by sending an email to: info@hartrollers.nl.


Article 8 – Applicable Law


These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The Netherlands. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of The Netherlands.


Article 9 – Changes to Terms and Conditions


The Company reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and it is your responsibility to review them periodically. Your continued use of the website following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of those changes.


Article 10 – Acknowledgement of Terms


By participating in an activity organized by the Company, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the above terms and conditions.
